1st Degree Indoor Percussion would like to welcome Rob Ferguson to the 2009 team. Rob, from Akron, Ohio, is the Director of Matrix Indoor World Drumline from Akron as well as the Percussion Caption Head and Front Ensemble Arranger for the Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps of Toledo, Ohio. He is also involved in many other programs throughout Ohio. Director Rod Owens states, "Rob has part of the 2008 1st Degree team as a consultant, and had joined the 2009 team full time as part of the Design Team and will be arrange for the Front Ensemble."
Owens adds that Rob is an "excellent educator and 1st Degree is excited to have him on board for the 2009 season. We look forward to a long relationship with him."

All students are welcome to attend the Audition/Clinic Days with 1st Degree. Whether you are interested in auditioning for the 2009 Season or spending the day with the 1st Degree Staff for a day of educational instruction, please feel free to attend..
2009 Program will require the following:
Battery percussionists
Front Ensemble percussionists
Cymbal Players
Guard Performers
other performers, no experience necessary
